The images below are from a Marketing class taken at Washington University in St. Louis. My group and I were tasked to assist a brand struggling to market to a particular audience. The brand we were tasked to help was Starbucks but in Australia. We developed a marketing plan and strategy to create a sub-brand or branch of the company that would source their beans from Starbucks but take on an aesthetic that appealed more to the local Australian coffee community.
Below are the names, logos, and mockups of some branded items, including the coffee beans that would be sold and opening coupons given to potential customers.
CREATE! Magazine Concept Cover:
The images below are close-ups of the cover I designed as a potential concept for the September issue of CREATE! magazine. The background image is a scanned and color-flipped collage of hand-drawn illustrations and writing on a canvas sheet with acrylic markers. The text and shape overlays were done digitally in Photoshop and touched up in Lightroom.
Clothing/Merch Design
The images below are mockups provided by Printful (A clothing manufacturer) that feature my designs made in Photoshop. The items are from my clothing brand, GEM* and you can see more of these mockups and designs on our social media or website.
The designs above that are also featured on the articles of clothing were all written and collaged by hand and scanned and placed. All the writing is done in Sharpie and the images are collaged from old magazines and newspapers.
